![]() Jenn: So we went into the tourist bureau and ask them, but. So I couldn't figure out how to get there because I could not use my phone to google it. The other day when we were in bear river, Nova Scotia. I have never done this, um, ever, however, it would've been very helpful. Jenn, is this something you've thought of doing in the past or have you done this before? So this like small preparation really can save you big time in a few different scenarios. So whether that's on foot or driving in a foreign country. So you can have what you need at your fingertips without the, the wonder of like, can I access them?Ĭause you never know what kind of situation you can get into. Those will still show up in your offline map. What I also find helpful is if you know some places you're going in advance, whether it's restaurants or locations, you can star them. You'll still have access to the maps and the things you need to find. Therefore you won't have to worry about finding data. In advance of your trip, they therefore should be the most up to date maps if you're doing it right before your trip. You can download that in my home before your trip. So downloading Google maps offline will save you from panicking about finding directions. You might not always have access to wifi. This might not be a necessary tip, but if you are leaving your home country and you'll be relying on Google maps for various important things like getting to your next destination you may not always have data. Such as traveling within your own country, which makes sense. Now, if you are a hundred percent certain that throughout your travels, you'll never be without data or you'll always have access to wifi. But one tip in regards to Google maps, like I'm gonna talk about is downloading the maps for offline use. Honestly, can't recommend it enough just in general, love Google maps. So whether it's driving or walking, finding a restaurant in a city that you're in, that you've never been to before. most of us, these days when we travel, we use Google maps. You'll think of us and be like, they knew what they were talking about. But I think, you know, if you do this and you haven't done it in the past, you'll thank us. This week I want to discuss a tip for y'all: downloading offline Google maps. ![]() Welcome back to travel tip Tuesday with the travel mug podcast gals.
